Erika brings over a decade of clinical experience to Buckhead Behavioral Health. After starting as one of the first employees at Creekside Recovery Residences, Erika now works as Executive Director, leading program development across Creekside and sister company Buckhead Behavioral Health. She specializes in treating addiction, mood disorders, co-occurring disorders, trauma and challenges related to life transitions. Her extensive clinical experience includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), expressive therapy, 12-Step concepts, motivational interviewing, solution-focused strategies and culturally competent interventions. Erika earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia State University and graduated with honors from Walden University with a master’s degree in social work. She has witnessed the devastation that addiction and mental illness can create in the lives of individuals and families and is an ardent believer in human beings’ innate resilience and capacity for positive change. Katie earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Kennesaw State University in 2017. Since graduation, Katie has immersed herself in patient care. She has worked in intense inpatient as well as outpatient settings, and specializes in adult and adolescent treatment, including work with addiction, mood disorders, trauma, eating disorders and co-occurring disorders. Katie is experienced in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), expressive therapy, animal therapy, motivational interviewing and life coaching. She has experienced firsthand the difficulties of life with mental illness and addiction and has made it her personal mission to help others and their families navigate lives in recovery. She has a passion for the practical application of psychology, therapy and an overall focus on mental health in everyday life. When not working, Katie can be found gardening and snuggling rescue dogs.
Carly Shaw is a certified alcohol and drug counselor from Atlanta, Georgia. She got her start working in mental healthcare in Florida, where she worked as an alumni and admissions coordinator and case manager at a detoxification center. After receiving an undergraduate degree in clinical psychology at the University of Central Florida and studying clinical mental health counseling at the University of the Southwest, her passion for helping others recover from substance abuse and other mental health challenges grew. Carly has worked in the field of addiction recovery for five years and finds nothing more personally and professionally rewarding than supporting individuals on their journey to wellness
Vanessa Young is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor who holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida in Psychology and a Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida A&M University. Vanessa is currently pursuing her LPC license and hopes to one day earn her PhD in Counselor Education. Vanessa not only has an interest in educating others, but a passion for helping others. Vanessa has worked in the mental health field for over 5 years and has provided counseling and case management services for a number of populations such as persons with special needs, sexual assault and domestic violence victims, persons with SUD’s, incarcerated persons, the LGBTQIA+ community, and the homeless. As a culturally competent and trauma-informed counselor, Vanessa uses a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Psychoanalytic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, etc. to assist her clients in truly finding freedom from trauma and creating a life they truly want to live.
Yosheika was born and raised in Athens, Georgia. She obtained her bachelor’s in psychology from Piedmont University in 2010. Yosheika immediately began working in Behavioral Health as a training assistant then switching over to direct care as Community Support Specialist with Child & Adolescent Services. Yosheika since then has worked in Community Mental Health, the University of Georgia’s Disability Resource Center, the Department of Family & Children Services, Medication Assisted Treatment, and K-12 education. Working in diverse backgrounds has continued to fuel Yosheika’s passion for mental health, holistic wellness, and person-centered care.
In 2019 Yosheika completed her Master of Social Work with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. During her Master’s program at the University of Georgia, Yosheika met and married her Life Partner and became a mom.
Alberto is an Associate Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping people recover from addiction together with managing their mental health issues. Alberto joined Buckhead Behavioral Health from Emory Healthcare where he worked as a Primary Therapist in the hospital system. Prior to working in mental health, Alberto had a successful international corporate career, living and working in locations as varied as London, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Alberto completed his undergraduate degree at the University of East Anglia (UK) and his Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer University in Atlanta.
Alberto believes in the power of group therapy, the importance of education in the disease of addiction, and the ability of creative therapy interventions to enable individuals to realize their fullest potential.
Raven Rodriguez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping individuals cope with life’s transitions. She is experienced in aiding those who have used unhealthy numbing mechanisms such as drugs, alcohol, sex, food, and self-harm. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Raven’s eclectic style mirrors the diverse populations she serves. Raven graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Masters in Social Science Administration (MSSA). Through her education, Raven learned to marry creative interventions with evidence-based practices to ensure optimal results for those she works with. Raven enjoys teaching Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques. She believes that therapy sessions should provide relief while equipping individuals with the tools they need to reach their goals.
Raven reminds individuals of their strengths while introducing new skills. She specializes in working with trauma survivors and assists in reclaiming narratives. Raven is gifted in introducing skills that aid in emotion regulation and lead to thriving in one’s fullest potential.
Stacy L. Cline, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who provides individualized care and medication management to patients suffering from various mental health conditions. Her experience includes the diagnosis and treatment of patients with anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, schizoaffective disorder, substance use disorder, and she is a buprenorphine waivered prescriber. Stacy has managed patients struggling with substance use and mental health disorders in PHP/IOP settings since 2019. She also has a private practice in Atlanta, providing treatment for those in recovery or with mental health disorders.
Stacy has provided both primary care and mental health care management to patients across the lifespan in primary care settings since 2014, including Emory Healthcare. Prior to 2014, her clinical settings included Neurovascular ICU at St. Joseph’s Hospital as well as traveling home healthcare in various states, providing education, infusion therapy, and wound care management in underserved populations. Stacy received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina in 2006. She became a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in 2013.
Stacy is dedicated to providing quality care to every patient while utilizing evidence-based interventions. Her goals include bringing warmth and compassion to each patient, instilling hope, and striving to reduce the social stigma associated with mental illness.

Alec Pagliarulo is a dedicated professional who has spent his entire career working in the addiction and mental health community. He has worked in various roles, including benefits analyst, admissions coordinator and business development specialist. Alec is passionate about providing the best possible care to individuals struggling to overcome addiction. He aims to create positive recovery experiences, including programs rooted in integrity that pave a path for long-term growth.
Carter is a successful real estate and private equity investor who recognized the need for sober living residences in Atlanta created specifically for professionals and family members of professionals.
Prior to founding Buckhead Behavioral Health, Carter worked in insurance brokerage in New York City and as a real estate private equity acquisitions specialist in Atlanta. He completed his undergraduate degree at Washington & Lee University and has an MBA from the UNC Keenan-Flagler Business School. Carter lives with his wife in Atlanta where he grew up. He enjoys golf and living a healthy lifestyle through his continued journey of recovery.
